If your PS5 lights up, fans spin, and the controller pairs, but the TV still says no signal, you are looking at a video-path problem - not a dead console. Most of those jobs are the HDMI port, not a full board rebuild.

Symptoms people actually search

• PS5 no picture / black screen / HDMI no signal
• Picture flickers when you bump the cable
• Audio only, or 1080p only when 4K used to work
• Pins look bent, pushed in, or the port sits crooked
• You already swapped HDMI cables and TV inputs

Those match a mechanical HDMI failure: a yank on the cable, a fall, or a tight entertainment-center install. Bent pins break specific lanes. You can still hear the console boot while the TV never locks a picture.

Quick checks before you ship

1. Use a known-good HDMI cable (the original if you still have it).
2. Try another HDMI input on the same TV, then a second display if you have one.
3. Look straight into the port with a flashlight. Crooked or missing pins are enough to quote a port job.
4. Do not jam a metal tool in there. That turns a port swap into extra damage.

Why repair instead of a new console

A used PS5 still costs hundreds. A clean HDMI port job is a fraction of that when the rest of the unit is healthy. If the console has extra faults (no power, liquid, loud grinding), we quote those separately. No surprise bills.
